I am a certified radiologist (MD) specialising in English into Greek medical translation, with clinical and research experience spanning radiology, oncology, and pathology.

I hold an MSc in Basic Medical Sciences and a PhD in Breast Cancer Pathology, both from the University of Patras, where I also obtained my medical degree (MD). Following my doctoral research, I completed a full radiology residency at the Metaxa Cancer Hospital in Piraeus.

My clinical background provides a first-hand understanding of the scientific reasoning that underpins every report, label, and regulatory document I translate. By delivering translations that are already clinically sound and peer-ready, I significantly reduce the need for time-consuming internal review cycles and mitigate the risks associated with non-specialized phrasing.

I am an active member of the Panhellenic Association of Translators (PEM), which belongs to the International Federation of Translators (FIT-IFT). This membership ensures that my work consistently meets international standards for quality and professional ethics.

Since 2004, I have specialised exclusively in medical and scientific translation, serving international and local clients across the life sciences sector – including medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations (CROs), publishers, medical communication agencies and specialised life sciences agencies.

I work with state-of-the-art offline tools, maintain governed termbases, and apply structured QA to ensure consistency and traceability. With more than two decades at the intersection of medicine and language, I translate clinical and regulatory materials with the same rigour I apply to medical reporting. My background in radiology, basic medical sciences and research in breast cancer pathology informs decisions on terminology, style, and risk-relevant phrasing.

Translation, for me, is an extension of scientific integrity.

Whether preparing MDR documentation, clinical trial materials, or manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals, I ensure the Greek text is precise, compliant, and fit for its intended use.
